When you subscribe to The Gnomon Workshop you will immediately get access to an amazing arts educational resource, all on one site, that you won't find anywhere else. You simply need to log in and use our menu to navigate to your desired tutorial. Each tutorial links directly to the DVD page for more information such as lesson description, Instructor bio and topics covered. Every time we release a new DVD or tutorial we will simultaneously add it to the corresponding subscription libraries - you don't have to wait and there are no additional costs.

How do I access the video tutorials?
Once you've purchased a subscription, Sign in and use the tutorial library menu to access the online training videos.

How are the training videos transmitted to my computer?
Tutorials are viewed through the Training Library Menu. They are delivered from a high-speed content delivery network to your computer.

How do the Project Files work? Can I download them?
Project specific files are found in the "Introduction" description panel. Project Files are often provided to help you practice a lesson or to deconstruct an instructor's workflow. When available, Project Files can be downloaded as an archive (.zip) from the Training Library Menu. To download, click the "Download Project Files" link.

Is watching the online videos secure?
Yes, watching the online videos does not expose your computer to any potential risk.

Am I able to jump between different video tutorials easily?
Yes, it is a simple process to select which lesson you want to watch. The Training Library Menu provides you with categorized lists and topics of tutorials to choose from.

What is the video size of the online training and can I view it full screen?
The video sizes may vary from 640 x 480, 853 x480 and 1024 x 768. The video sizes are varied because of the different video recording processes we have used. Yes, you can watch the videos in full screen.

How does the "Favorites" feature work?
If you find a tutorial or chapter that you like, you can add it to your favorites folder by clicking on + Add to Favorites underneath the View More Details button. If you do not see the tutorial in your favorites folder, refresh your browser and the tutorial should appear. You can delete and item from your favorites by clicking on - Remove from Favorites.

What is your refund policy?
All sales are final and there are no refunds for subscriptions.

Do you offer trial access to the subscription section?
We don't offer trial access to the subscription section but we do have a "Sample Tutorial" category in the menu from which you may watch some sample videos. As well, you may visit our Free Tutorial section to watch some excellent lectures from our library.

Can I get an educational discount to the subscription plans?
We do not offer an educational discount to subscriptions. However, we do offer multi-user discounts to educational institutions. See our Multi-User disount section for more details.

At the end of my subscription, will it be automatically renewed?
Yes, the subscription is automatically renewed until you decide to put it 'on hold'.

Will I be notified that my subscription is ending?
Yes, you will be contacted via e-mail before your subscription automatically renews. At any point during your one year subscription you can put it 'on hold' in your 'my account' page. When your account is 'on hold' you will still be able to view your subscription content but your subscription will expire one year from the purchase date. You can also at anytime take your subscription off hold and it will automatically renew one year from the purchase date.

Is it possible to upgrade from either Plans 2 or 3 to Plan 1? How will it work?
Yes, if you are interested in upgrading from either Plans 2 or 3 to Plan 1, please email: admin@thegnomonworkshop.com. We will pro-rate your existing plan based on the upgrade date and discount the new plan accordingly. Your new Plan 1 subscription will be for 1 year and start from the upgrade date. We do not offer the ability to downgrade from Plan 1 to either PLan 2 or 3. Please contact us for more details.

What are the system requirements for The Gnomon Workshop Subscription?
You should have a high-speed DSL or Cable modem connection to enjoy the best video playback. Slow connections may result in choppy playback. We also highly recommend using Firefox 3.0 and above to navigate and watch the videos. You must also set your browser to allow cookies.

Are there any restrictions?
There are no restrictions to regular, or normal, use of your subscription account. However, we have implemented tools to help prevent abuse. If you have mistakenly received an 'access denied' error please contact us via email (help@thegnomonworkshop.com) to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. In most cases, particularly if you are attempting to log in after your browser has crashed, this kind of error will resolve itself in about five minutes.

What products are not included as part of the Online Training Subscription?
The Online Training Subscription plans do not include the Special Edition Master Classes, texture libraries or assets. These must be purchased separately.
