After an uneventfully short career as an actor, Neville Page found a better way to get in front of the camera. He became a creature designer. His movie monsters have been the hostile centerpoint of many major films like “Avatar,” J.J. Abrams’ “Star Trek” and “Super 8.” He’s also taught at the Art Center College of Design and the Gnomon School of Visual Effects, and he’s hosting today’s Creative Design panel at Comic-Con, which is about creating new aesthetics through unusual approaches.
