Extended 1 week from December 12th-26th, The Gnomon Workshop is thrilled to announce our first interactive online event. For the first time, we will rebroadcast ten lectures from previous live events including presentations by Iain McCaig, William Stout, Eric Tiemens, James Clyne, Wayne Barlowe, Kenneth Rocafort, TyRuben Ellingson, Marc Gabbana, George Hull and Brom.
Gnomon has held seven weekend workshop events over the past three years and each one has been an overwhelming success, with tickets selling out to 300 students and professionals from around the world, albeit mostly from the Los Angeles area. We are launching this new online event in the effort to bring these inspiring, educational and hugely motivating lectures to a wider global audience.
We receive constant feedback from these events that they have been some of the most inspiring weekends ever experienced by the artists in attendance. We strongly believe that anyone, regardless of whether you are a designer, modeler, animator or producer, will leave this event with a lasting admiration for the passion, dedication and talent that artists in the entertainment industries possess. But beyond that, the personal benefit to attendees is something that can not be undervalued. Education. Motivation. Inspiration.

How will it work?
Attendees to this online event will be given access to a private forum for the entire week. During the event, all ten presentations will be viewable online, Within the forum, questions can be asked of the speakers who will do their best to answer questions regarding their presentations. However during the second week of the rebroadcast event the instructors wont be available for questions. Each presentation ranges from 60-120 minutes, delivered in high-quality streaming video. Shot with multiple HD cameras, including a direct HD digital feed from the presenter’s computer, we have done our best to edit together a clear and enjoyable experience. Presentations will only be viewable online, at a resolution of 960x540, and can not be saved or stored for later viewing.
The line-up of artists is impressive, being some of the most talented and experienced artists in the industry. These artists are not usually accessible due to their busy schedules, and we of course thank them for their generosity in agreeing to participate!
How will it cost?
