Bio:
Scott Patton began his career as a Make-up effects artist in the early nineties. He designed effects and make-ups for projects ranging from Tales From The Crypt, The Hills Have Eyes, to The Green Mile, and Kill Bill.
In 2006, Patton fused his practical sculpting, painting, and design skills with digital tools, such as; ZBrush, XSI, and Photoshop which led to a job with Stan Winston Studios. He quickly became the Lead Designer on films like Jim Cameron's AVATAR, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skulls, and Terminator Salvation. After Stan Winston's unfortunate death in 2008, Patton helped to forge a new digital design and prototyping department for the newly formed Legacy Effects (made up of Winston alumni).
He is currently designing characters for Andrew Stanton's John Carter Of Mars series.
