Visual
Effects Supervisor
Gary Jackemuk has worked in the visual effects
industry for over 15 years. Starting as graphics
developer at Wavefront, he has worked in all
aspects of CGI Production at such companies as
Digital Domain, Dream Quest, Rhythm & Hues,
and now with his own company, JackLabs. Gary
is an accomplished compositor who is proficient
in multiple packages including Shake, Flame/Inferno
and Digital Fusion. He has contributed to numerous
major productions including Interview with
the Vampire, Apollo 13, Dante’s Peak, and Titanic.
More recently, Gary’s work has been seen
in Cat in the Hat, Van Helsing and The
Chronicles of Riddick. In recent years, his personal interests
in photography have directed his artistic skills
back into the 3D arena where he has been working
more closely with lighting and rendering in the
CGI Pipeline.
