Sean
Hargreaves
Blackpool,
England-native Sean Hargreaves attended Art Center College of Design,
where he graduated with a B.S. After school, Hargreaves worked at
General Motors Advanced Concepts Center where he designed concept
cars. But a lifelong interest in films—as well as in architecture,
transportation design, and art—drew him to the entertainment
industry, where he worked his way up from storyboard artist, concept
artist, and art director to production designer. Hargreaves now oversees
the design and construction of sets for commercials and films. He
has worked on such films as Heat, Crimson Tide, Batman Forever, Seven,
and The Lost World: Jurassic Park, and has won two AICP awards for
production design. Two of his commercials are in The Museum of Modern
Art in New York.
